thanks guys ,debears i have been thinking about what you suggested with the cab lights..not sure if i will do that it would look nice but i think it will look too much like a toy and not like a real truck...D.O.T. rules .....all clearance lights must be amberif they face front:p:p:p:p...i'm thinking about it though...good suggestion:D

The truck looks great with all of those lights on it. I love the use of the green led's rather than the standard amber and red. Really sets it apart.

total lights incuding the headlights 55 think i might add a few more green l.e.d.s under the rear suspension so the whole truck glows ...not like it does't do that now..lol

Nice change! Yes, that grille definitely makes the truck look like an IH. Now you need the logo and 'International' across the top of the grille. File some letters out of a aluminum, by hand. Just kidding. But I bet it could be done with styrene!

yea sure:eek:...lol actually i would like to somehow get the eagle emblem put on there like the real thing but don't know of anyone that makes it in diecast .i suppose i could probably do a decal ,won't be the same 3d effect as the emblem but hey i am happy with the looks now so far...:D

Hey, wait a second.....why are the grille openings not cut out on the passenger side? Looks like you're going to have to shave the louvers off the cab, where the grille covers them as well.

the 1:1 binders are like that.

if you see a real one on the road after now, thats the first thing you'll notice. i saw them in russ's store, then saw one a few days later, and saw it right away.

Thats the way it is to be Nate and that is how I had Russ do them them areas are to be painted black. On a 9670 Eagle they don't have the name header panel they are painted with the eagle over top of it. I wanted this grill to be from the first few years of the 9670 with that upper panel was alum and it said INTERNATIONAL in big letters all the way across it not the later years where it was painted with the eagle over it..

Nope that was a oops cause we worked off a photo but got it backwards no big deal anyways when painted will still look great I have lettering for my grills on my 2 older looking IH cabs and my 2 new looking IH cabs Ill paint the header board the color of the field on the cab it ends up being in.. Russ is doing some cool stuff just like all the other great vendors and Dwyane's truck here is a perfect example of it..

Yep don't cut them out they are to be there Dwayne use some flat black to paint the inserts and it will look perfect. I have 4 of the revised versions coming this week all get them polished and painted and update my threads this week I hope..

Got some custom aluminum license plates made for my trucks .they are just like the real thing and they are reflective also like real plates

Being new at RC's I see so many things you guys do and have questions. I am curious on how did you get the windows so dark?

Brian i do not put interiors in my trucks ever,as far as i am concerned ..i do not want to see all the wires inside ..thats my little quirk...lol so what i do is i paint the inside of the windows flat black to give the illusion that the windows are limo tinted dark and therefore there is a driver in there ...either that or he is a vampire and hates daylight....lol

Great idea. It does look like limo tint. I'll have to keep that one in mind. Hmmm... A vampire themed truck... The ideas are are running wild!
