Hi Guys, Some members of Big Rigs And construction W.A Perth Western Australia are going to Germany next year to attend the Dortmund Fair.
I was just wondering if any of the Guys on this forum are attending as it would be great to meet up .

One of these days I'll stop buying models and take a trip to Germany. Just hard to justify instead of acquiring another badass toy!!

Hmmm.... How can I swing a trip to Germany....

Not sure if I could afford the trip let alone any spending money...

Currently in a Bus waiting to cross the Canadian/US Boarder... Just a little distance from Sydney....

Cheers,
AP

I've been to Dortmund twice (from Utah). The first time it was great, but the last time (April 2012), there were considerably less venues for construction and trucks. I was told by the vendors (Wedico) that the premier show is the one in Karlstrue early in the year. I was quite unhappy with the lack of model constuction companies attending. The trip cost about 4,000 BTW. Mitch

Hi Mitch,
I know next year wedico will share a stand with TTM as I was talking with Ralf Beinfield by phone the other day. How many construction equipment stands were there in 2012? With the Karlstrue show I thought this had more 1/12 scale equipment. Comming from Australia the cost for just the airfair will be $5200 for myself and my wife and then another three weeks in Europe will add a little bit more:o. We will go to Dortmund 2013 and if its lacking it will be Karlstrue in 2014
