Pro builder just thinking would it be possible to make a mould and make a resin copy ? So they can be reproduced a little easyer that way if anybody else wanted one in the future you could just pour one out kind of like cloning ! Lol just a thought I was daydreaming about .

hey mario its a long way away yet and you never know what could happen from now to then ..i mean not to poke fun or anything but the mayans are saying the world will end at the end of december of this year..so you know ..oh and btw i took the stripes off of vegas:eek: .i messed up with the pinstriping hand painted on...the colours ran and dried on the stripes:mad: so i removed them:(

11-11-2012, 11:14 AM
i think if you get into doing assembly line stuff ,you lose that personal touch of building to each and everyone's specs.i prefer the getting it done this way rick because you get what you want and not what someone else thinks you should have.in fact i will probably just go this route from now on and make my fleet personal to me

plow jockey
11-11-2012, 12:39 PM
You are so right!! Everybody has different tastes, old, new, work, or show truck. Rick builds the truck of your choice the way you want it. That's why everybody does the mods and add ons,on the stock truck kits.

1985 kenworth
11-12-2012, 08:58 PM
Hey alan there is a guy in london ontario that makes the decals his website: is jbot. Com i think and the grille on the mule is bare foil metal and the headlight lens are google eyes from micheals with the centers taken out of them. You can get them in a bag with asst sizes.that website is either jbot.com or jbot.ca i don't remember i will send it to you later

Goose19
11-12-2012, 09:45 PM
the headlight lens are google eyes from micheals with the centers taken out of them

good to know!

http://i1085.photobucket.com/albums/j436/1985kenworth/2012-12-21_02-44-07_714_zpsd1f471f0.jpgbecause there is no room on the chassis to put the mfu unit on that it would not look out of place i decided to install and build it directly in the floor of the truck also to hide it

well finally got around to doing the finishing touches on my blue mule tractor.i used a large paperclip cut it up and bent it to resemble the foot bracket that usually sits under the doors on the older cabovers .the paperclips with the grips work better than the smooth ones as these bend easier without breaking if done real slow and i finally added the wipers to the truck http://i1085.photobucket.com/albums/j436/1985kenworth/2014-03-02_09-46-09_233_zpse5022e37.jpg (http://s1085.photobucket.com/user/1985kenworth/media/2014-03-02_09-46-09_233_zpse5022e37.jpg.html)
