Next question, does Wedico make a panel to fit a Tamiya trailer?

I think the bed sides you have are as long as they get. The dump bed that i have only has 8 panels to it. Don't fell bad about buying it from someone else he will be more than happy to help you out. You can ask him about parts to make the wedico box wider to fit the tamiya truck better.

I don't see why u have this problem. A wedico dump box is aluminum cast parts and stamped aluminum sheet with some stainless screws to hold it together.

Fordie,
Looks like you could just buy a single side-panel, and bend it to 'wrap around' the front, or if you want more length, chop the single in half, and mate it to your existing sides.
Its what I'd do to 'extend' Tamiya's box semi-trailer from its 'too-short' size to regulation. And the Fruehauf's do have seams, so it doesn't have to be perfect either.

I used the tamiya flatbed trailer and the same wedico dump box as you. The space in the front of the dump box is where the battery box is for the screw drive.
