custom excavator gets rock crusher!

so its been a slow week at work. so i made my self a rock crusher. waiting on battery to test it .. its not a rock crusher so much as a rock grabber and clay clumps crusher.

It looks pretty nice, except I don't see how it can actually grab any rocks or clumps. The jaw opening looks to tight to get anything in there. It looks more like one of those shears they use in the junk yards, for cutting scrap steel!

o it runs the thumb on the regular stick (in the back ground) that was just a way to good of a spot almost like it was made for it. and im running oil in it its kind of a 1.1 setup a servo pushes and pulls it from inside the cab/house.

i made a vid earler to day. its just a test vid. may be little long but enjoy wanted to show off it can pick up many different sized rocks. and all in one take , i get flack on another site about jump cuts.
