Happy New Year everybody!

I am Joe, a grad student in Construction at Purdue University here and the work you guys do ad showcase on here gives me so much joy.

I plan to make my own models soon and have this sure is a great resource to help get started.

I did modify an RC truck I bought online so as to be controlled through a WiFi network. Will showcase it when once I figure out where it goes in the forum!

Thanks!

Joe

Welcome Joe I am glad to see you joined. Larry at the hobby shop gave me your info you left with him but you made it here before I had a chance to tell you about the forum. Take a look through the forum and you can see some of the stuff I have built and most of it came from Larry at the hobby shop in Lafayette.

Thank you Susan, Dan and Neil! I look forward to building and sharing here!

Travis, thank you very much for the welcome. I was thrilled to hear from Larry that there was someone in the area that builds construction equipment. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance on here.

As mentioned earlier, I just modified a RC truck made by Arctic Hobby to be controlled through the WiFi network. Please find the video below:

I hope to graduate to using sturdier and more complex models like the ones you guys build.

Thanks!
Joe
