You said you got parts from Russ. Who is Russ? I'm breaking into this side of the hobby and always looking for new sites to drool over haha.

Russ is a vendor here under the bone yard, he make some awesome aluminum parts for these trucks.

I think chop 10" off your rails and use the aeromax cab and itll look just like your drawing. Looks like your rails are the full 36" yikes!!!! Good luck turning. 26-30" frames thats a good length for a strecthed truck.

looks good so far, I have to agree with taking a few inches off your rails I have a stretched Pete and with a trailer turning sometimes sucks. Good luck keep us updated. TONY

some grinding, some glue some styrene, some filler...you can see where the chop top is going to be
lengthened about a 1/2 inch, ground off the hood vents, extended the cab and fenders down,
http://x.co/xHoy
and whipped up some fenders.. got russ's bumper on for mock up, going to need to make it flip up, or raise the mount a bit.. ants are in danger of getting hit by the bottom of that thing.. lol

That is a lot of chopping and hacking, but it looks like it is paying off!
