View Full Version : SIDE DUMP TRAILER

Hi guys, i have been working in this trailer for long finally done, i use two high torque servos 360, one of the servos need to switch
the cables at the motor to make it work together to dump at same side, chassis from reefer trailer , the dump come out a gutter i found it in lowe 's is 4 inch wide, now looking for colors.

Looks pretty cool, Jose. I'm curious how your servos are mechanically attached, so that they tip the tub. How much torque do they have? Will you be covering the servos up, so they don't get burried with the load? The truck looks very nice!

I think you may have just came up with a recipe for "the poor mans side dump". Brilliant idea.

I have to replace the servos no to much torque ,i replace for
this motors founded in local electronic store, now work
goooood. Now i can go for paint job

This is a very nice trailer and you did it with electrics Freddygeardrive did one of these with hydraulics to dump it off both sides. Ed

for the parts u used to make this trailer its killer and the paint just makes it pop. are those my old rims. well new old rims glad they went to a sweet project!

Yes sir these are your rims, give a nice look. Yes i will take it to Indy + flat bed and two tractors and my folded garage and if i finish a bobtail single axle to jump around and race with travis.
