My Premacon excavator has arrived and it was worth the long wait. This thing is gorgeous, pictures and videos do not do these machines justice. I ordered mine with all the bells and whistles and while it cost me an arm and leg i couldnt be more happy with this excavator.

That is one of my Favorite machines that comes out of the THS work shop. I have to say the orange color combo is killer. I see you got the heavy counter weight , that's a must have for a good balance. Congratulations!! If you don't mind me asking, when did you place your order exactly?

Thank you!

Congrats mike...

I like the orange!

Was dealing with the packing foam a pain? But it looks like it made it ok! I will be interested to hear what you think of the radio, and how it is setup controls wise.

It was great to meet you yesterday Mike

Okay guys, I saw Mikes new machine up close ! WOW

It looks just like the real thing, the detail is outstanding. It would be difficult to take it out in the dust/dirt and mud the first time... ( it looks that good )

Congrats Mike

Hi guys,

thank you for the good comments. A want to say very clearly that the THS machine has since 2013 nothing to do with our machine. we go different ways. THS has built a few machines without our Information although it was part of our partnership. This is for us not acceptable and we will no longer cooperate. The technic we deliver is quite different now and not comparable with the old machine. We have new Pumps new pump Controllers and so on.. which only we will and can deliver. please understand that we only will give support for our machines or models we have built end checked. Please understand us that we will stop the cooperation. We have all parts here and we can built it easily without ths or someone else. mike dont worry you have the right machine ;)

Thanks for your understanding.

Right now i have no way to charge the battery in the radio, so neither machine is useable. Looks as though they will both remain as new until i can figure out where i can get wall chargers that will work. Seems the radios are designed for European current and not N. America.

My DX8 came with interchangeable plugs. Maybe a charger from one of them would work?

The loader i just got has the Graupner mc 20 . And my excavator has the Futaba FX30

trucker n
04-10-2014, 02:12 AM
U can get a futaba charger that will work with that I had the futaba 20 channel and used a charger from the 9 channel just fine I also like to change the batteries in them to lipo and they last forever

bigpipespete
04-10-2014, 02:15 AM
I sent a message to Premacon so i will hopefully see what they suggest in a day or two. The Futaba radio came with a full charge so i have not had to recharge it yet, but sooner or later it too will require recharging . I will post pictures of what i have tomorrow and that way someone might know better what i can do.

Yes they come with a plug that goes in the wall , but they have 2 long prongs not the style of our N.American wall outlets

Fwiw my graupner radio came with a euro plug, I bought an international adapter and plugged it in... The charger supports 100-240 v ac... As an input..

So the one Elliot refers to should work... Just check the charger specs..

torarne81
04-10-2014, 09:47 AM
Can't you just take the battery out of the radio, make a charge cable, and charge it with the charger for the rest of your batteries? Got 2 futaba radios, and the chargers still is in the transmitter case (never used) ;)

Hey Mike The loader is looking Great ..thanks for sharing and congrats ..This coming show in July should be awsome ..Hey just a word of caution on the charger...There should be a small diagram on the charger with the polarity + and - of the plug going into the radio ..make sure this is the same as what on the charger that was sent from premacon

Cool... The adapter linked by Elliot will work(Canada runs 120v the same as the US, which is in the 100-240 input voltage range)...

You could go down to your local electronics store and ask for one as well.

Cheers,
