Hi guys, I went to my first semi truck show this weekend, in Waupun Wisconsin. I took a bunch of pictures of the trucks, and thought I'd share a few with all of you. There were some really nice trucks, and I'm sure you will be able to tell what my favorites were, based on the number of photos I took of those trucks I liked best. :D The order in which I post them is somewhat messed up, simply because I was having problems uploading them with photobucket. Go figure, right? But never the less, sit back and enjoy the photos!

These are awsome Nathan .The photos are very crisp and clear ..what type of camera are you using ?.Thanks for sharing .Those trailers are pretty amazing ..imagine the polishing involved hey ..After seeing those Supermario you must be glad your only 1/14 lol ...Nice

Glad you liked them, Lou. Yes, I can't imagine the time involved in polishing and cleaning up these trucks. I have a hard enough time just washing and waxing my pickup truck. I'd hate to try and clean up a semi truck! My camera is a Sony F282. It's about ten years old already, so it's old technology, but it still takes great photos. Thanks for the comments.

Jimmy, this was the first semi truck I've ever been too. It was pretty cool. I went on Friday, but there were still trucks arriving when I left about 6pm. Saturday would have been a better day to see everything, and they did a night time light show / parade Friday and Saturday evening. That would have been neat to see, but it didn't start until 9pm, and it was about a 2 hour drive home for me. I didn't know you were thinking about going! I wasn't sure if I was going to myself. Then on a whim, thought what the heck. Maybe next year we could check it out!

There are some really nice rigs. I went to the truck show at Iowa 80 truck stop in Walcott,Ia this year and last year. The light shows are the best part in my opinion. Just amazing how much work time and money go into these trucks.I recognize several truck that were at the show in Walcott.
There is one truck I see that is especially cool to me. This truck was featured in a music video by Leland Martin. He sings alot of trucking type songs. The video was filmed at the Walcott truck stop. The title of the song is "Working Class"

That's pretty interesting. I thought Colin Stuart, the owner of that Peterbilt 359, had one of the nicest trucks at the show. He was offering a cab ride to anyone who bought ten rolls of raffle tickets - the money going to the Special Olympics. So it was for a great cause, and he was a stand up guy. I almost wanted to buy the tickets just to get a ride in his truck, but the parade didn't start until 9pm, and I had a 2 hour drive home, so I passed. Would have been cool. His truck being a twin stick and all.
