Well after a month of wedding/honeymoon time I've found my way back into the shop...well sort of. I've been struggling for a while now for space to store my models while retaining enough room to work on them so today I picked up this Snap-on shelving unit from Costco. It's more of an industrial piece but it works OK for my big heavy models(yes the KW takes up one whole 6 foot shelf). After I took the picture I ended up making some brackets for the feet and adding some casters so I can roll it around. I must admit that I was too lazy to remove the models and almost blew out my foo-foo valve lifting it onto the casters by myself:jaw:.

Now I finally have an empty workspace...hmmm

Yeah it seems that way for now:rolleyes:....that's only because you can't see the metal bench and I don't have any builds going on.lol

No builds going on, That is unacceptable. How am I supposed to entertain myself without you building something. Maybe we need to start a poll where all of the members on here can choose what you build next. That would be entertaining.:D:D:D

The poll would be a great idea but it would cost you to vote in the poll and the money would go to fund the build!:jaw: Just kidding:lol::lol::lol::lol:

BTW Reg nice work area and shelf, the bench is definently to tidy!

I don't bother with shelves or benches. All they are is another place for me to make and leave a mess! If I clean them off, the junk multiplies and comes right back. It's kind of like weeding. Never ending. :D But, your models do look good on there Reg. I do clean my work area once in a while. Usually when I start a new model, or when I can't find my tools anymore.

Haha yes this could get interesting and or expensive...a poll with a toll would be a great idea:rolleyes: or maybe someone willing to buy the machine when it was finished:confused: I would find it amusing to see what other members think my fleet is missing though...:D

Yes a log loader is missing...

As for a "Bucket" list...no pun intended...

I would like to build a(in no particular order)....

Dozer- late D8H or early D8K and/or maybe a green one too:D
Wheel loader- 988B(old one)
Excavator- Cat 568 roadbuilder with severe duty stick
Log loader- Cable machine, maybe a Koering
Log Stacker- Letourneau or Wagner
Logging trucks- Hayes-HDX, Pacific-P16, Mack CL350
Log Skidder- Tigercat 630D...wait a minute:confused:
BIG haul truck- late Euclid or early Terex(wheelbarrows suck)
More Bruder conversions...
A cabin in the Yukon
Something in 1/14 scale
Something I got paid a little to build
The list goes on...lol
