I have been working on this for a few weeks now. Just getting around to post pictures. I have a King Hauler. Also purchased pretty much every upgrade for it.
I started with a 6" stretch in the frame

Added an aftermarket front axle

I purchased these rear ends off a vendor on ebay
http://i820.photobucket.com/albums/zz127/bmoss89_2010/RC%20truck%20build%202013/DSC02460_zpse59149cd.jpg (http://s820.photobucket.com/user/bmoss89_2010/media/RC%20truck%20build%202013/DSC02460_zpse59149cd.jpg.html)

Then of course I had to have some authentic Peterbilt wheels from Steve at IHB

Have a rolling chassis now

http://i820.photobucket.com/albums/zz127/bmoss89_2010/RC%20truck%20build%202013/DSC02510_zps73ad3a60.jpg (http://s820.photobucket.com/user/bmoss89_2010/media/RC%20truck%20build%202013/DSC02510_zps73ad3a60.jpg.html)

Also tried my hand at some body work. I have always like the standup bunk on the Peterbilt. Started cutting styrene and this is what I came up with. I didn't measure for scale, just eyeballed it and looks pretty close to me anyways.....

Wasn't happy with the front axle I had on the truck. Just wasn't tight enough, lots of slop in in it. I ordered an Integy front axle. This is a nice axle. No slop in it.

Great start man. A six inch stretch is a long tractor, good luck running her indoors lol.

Yea she is a long one for sure. I have a 49" flat to pull behind it. All told a 5' 4" rig to drive. Our house isn't that big, should make for some real challenge
