I know, it looks amazing... have you watched DJ medics build review yet?

Looks like a quality model, but to be honest I was a little disappointed in the "build" review. Only because the whole backbone tube, with diffs, transfer case (all the interesting bits) were already built, so he just shows the website, which I already looked at. Later on in the video the CAD model/animation they supply for it was cool. I'd like to see more of that. Just my thoughts...

What's funny is he calls it a Tatra. While the backbone driveline is a tatra design the body it definitely a Hemtt. It's pretty awesome but a justified hefty price tag.

It does look a lot like a HEMTT, but Tatra produces trucks for the military as well. I think it's modeled off the T815-7. Check out the Tatra promotional video:

Very nice base HEMTT for a possible PLS system. Couldn't find the price on it though.

Those are pretty sweet, when they're working. Looks complex and wish I had one!

But when something goes wrong... what's next?

(I'm still looking for that 'right truck' for me)

they are re-named for copyright reasons. just cause it looks like a pete doesnt mean you can call it a pete without some $$ in there right??

he's been working on it a bit more. might see frame rails soon.
