Hi guys,
I finished my first Rc truck a couple of day ago, and my local group has a meet this weekend.
I currently drive a small pick up truck, so I don't have much room to put many rc toys in the cab of the car,
So I need to make a transports box or container to put my rc toys it when I am going to a meet or to a show,
As my rc toy will have to go in the back of the car.
So I just after information on transport container you guys used?
Like what you line the insides with.
If you could show me some pic to that would be great.
Regards from Cameron.

There are several ways to protect your trucks and radio equipment Cameron. With the money invested in the units, the best I've seen so far for truck-boxes were built by Paul (TamiyaCowboy) and can be built & customized for a reasonable cost.

That a big help, I do remember seeing that topic before I joined this forum, but I forgot about it.
Were would I have to go to get the pink Owens Corning extruded polystyrene FOAMULAR, as I am base in Australia and I have never seen the stuff in the local timber and hardware shop?
I was thinking you line the outside of them with say 3 mm ply.

I suggest that you check with the local members for more info, like ausiietruckerguy, Ralph (lostinoz), and the like. They'd know the local retail centers available to you.
I also think that the 3mm ply should do fine, just remember to use screws instead of nails when buildings (if you ever had to disassemble them you could reassemble them without much hassle.)

These foam boxes are a wonderful idea! Is anybody selling them? Or would anybody be interested in buying if someone was to make them up?

boards with braces to hold by the axles or by the frame would be most secure. Also using a good blanket and placing it somewhere in the truck it can't move much works.
