hello every one my name is jack i am new to the higher end rc since i have only realy had a few airplanes and cheaper rc toy stuff but i am getting ready to make my first serious purchase i am looking at excavators,a dump truck probly 8by8 and then hoplfuly a d11 kit.I have been looking at the rc4wd ecavator and was woundering if there is anything any knows that would help me make up my mind lol i see it is the most affordable since current price is aroun 4400 us plus s&h

that seems to be the most popular excavator lately. dieselchopper has one. going to go play with it at model engineering show today lol.

they are okay. they leak some. electric over hydraulic. youtube it and see what you can find. also djmedic on youtube aka RC sparks has one and did a couple videos with it and the 8x8

I would hold off on the RC4WD purchase as there are some better choices out there. We should get together and talk

Welcome to the forum! Nice to see another BC guy on here. Someone on the island has a scratch built excavator for sale for less than the RC4WD unit. I'm sure Greg can fill you in on that if you contact him.
