ok dose anyone have a thread for their home bulit hydraulic cylinders?
not anything that crazy machined because i don't have that kind of stuff. im looking to make a single action cylinder for my dump trailer. any help would be great!

Check out clippard they make single and double action hydraulic cylinders, they range in price from $20-30. You couldn't make it for that cheap, and they work great!

well i made one. its work pretty dang good! in fact it bends the bolt it's mounted on when there is a heavy load in the dump bed.

the hard part was chacing all the leaks, and finding the right solder to braze it with. i found that so solder if its brazed once it turns super hard and you cant get it hot engh to take apart your part again. and brass is tricky to braze onto copper
