http://i1085.photobucket.com/albums/j436/1985kenworth/2013-11-17_17-23-08_944_zps66218212.jpg (http://s1085.photobucket.com/user/1985kenworth/media/2013-11-17_17-23-08_944_zps66218212.jpg.html)as some of you might know from the thread in general discussion i purchased this truck from rod(stepside).i have a plan for this truck,nothing drastic at all .i told rod i was not going to change anything...well....here is the thing i am quite happy with this truck with the exception that it looks like a generic tamiya kinghauler.i would like to make it a name brand truck by making a few changes to the hood .not sure whether i want it to look like a kenworth or a peterbilt..i am leaning towards the pete 359 with the double round headlights.the color will stay the same for now until i figure out a design for a vehicle wrap for both the truck and the trailer i am planning to get ;):D

here is a small update .been working crazy hours as of late so no time to build however i decided to make aluminum visors for the headlights of my new addition

Truck looks AWSOME the changes to the hood are dead on great job. I would change out the fuel tanks make them look like one long tank. I hope to see this truck at a show beautiful job.

here is another update for this build ...almost finished .i noticed there were no air horns on the roof( how long have i had this truck now:o)so i got some and using 1:25 scale aluminum moon eyes hubcaps for cars i attached them to resemble air horn covers,its a trick i used for all of my trucks,i added the chrome flame decal and the oval peterbilt emblem.i also made the aluminum bug deflector as i said previous .i just have to add and wire the headlights and signals.oh btw thanks rod(stepside) for texting me the paint code he used to paint this truck..here are some pics

here is a link to the video of the first run after the makeover pulling my set of doubles with an old converter dolly i made from an old globeliner chassis using trailer axles ,complete with safety chains.its a school outing we do every 2 weeks during the winter months ,and since alot of guys did not show last night it gave me more room to run this monster,and carrying this 32" long 17lb monster from the parking lot to the hallway was a feat in itself..lol http://youtu.be/s3EK3L-puLM

paul (tc cowboy ) told me there was one for tug boats that when you throttled up it will blow more smoke out .thats what this one does,when you idle it puffs abit and when you push on the throttle if pushes it out as if the engine is doing it
