so i was looking at the truck today, and was thinking i may turn the ford into a
dump truck. but don't know? i got a tipper trailer. and two other semi's so it would be missed as a tipper or not but be kind of cool. something different. and its 6wd so it perfect for off road. don't know? what would yall do?

I think the bed takes away from the truck. Its so detailed and the bed, well... not so much. But Hey, its all about what you wanna do.

I don't think it'd look as good as a dump

Keep it a road tractor. I think that wheelbase is to short to be used as a dump truck.

I say no dump truck, unless you get a nice scale body to match the scale detail of the tractor. RCP57 is producing some of the nicest dump body's I've seen available . But like everyone else has already said, its your truck...do what makes YOU happy.

Personally the trucks wheel base is kinda short And the bed is to short if your trying to look prototypical....but that's just an opinion and it's not my truck....

Until you get the box sitting right and no headache rack its hard to say as there are plenty of rigs out there that have ended there hwy life and have been converted to tippers...

I vote that if you like it as a dump that's how you build it. I think itll look good either way. Dumps are fun and you don't see too many that are the fords so..... But in the long run its up to you. ;)

i'm still up i the air, i do want o make a "true dump tuck" and i am about to make a utiliity truck with a low sided bed, and maybe a crane on the back. so this guy is a good truck for the dumper . the bed i used inthe pic is not the one i will be using i just stuck that on the
back to to give a idea of what it may look like. im thinking its little to short but don't know.
arge!!

I'd say it looks pretty good and being all wheel drive, would be a lot of fun in the dirt pile:D
A short wheelbase dump in all wheel drive is a must for any serious sand box..... I think the short sided box is kool ....
