First post so I will keep it short.
My Truck turned up today (early chrissie present from the wife) it is a Tamiya Ford Aeromax and the trailer is on the way it's a pole trailer kit.
I am planning to build this as it comes out of the box apart from replacing all the bearings and adding some alloys. Once I have got my head around it I might change a few other bit's.
All the other trucks pictured on this site are amazing just hope mine turns out half as good.

Thanks for the replies
I will be starting the build when my bearing's and wheels turn up so for now I am going to work out a paint scheme and study the plans.
Just ordered some high torque metal geared servos and I will have a search through my spares for a tx & rx .
I know I have a spectrum dx6i and receivers in the toy room (that's what mozza calls my workshop) would this system work with the Tamiya.

Welcome to the forum. You've found a second home

Sounds like a great build Ian. Might I suggest that you get the Tamiya Motorized Support Legs.

It allows hooking/unhooking of your trailer with the use of your radio.
Any other trailers modified with this unit can also be used with your truck once you've upgraded.

I use this system on all of my builds. I just love it!!
It brings people to a stop anytime you drop-&-hook, they just can't take their eyes off it.
