thanks guys i am quite happy with it and it has some weight to it so i am assuming the construction of it is made from steel which means it could carry some weight to it :)just going to add some mudflaps,reflective tape ,and trailer lights and some tie-downs then it will be legal for the road:D

That's a pretty nice trailer. I didn't even know Russ was planning to make these. How did you end up with one, if they aren't even available yet? Early prototype? :D

its the first one which yea its a prototype and a good one i may add..:D anyway i finally finished the trailer so it functional and meets dot standards..added the lights ,went with the white mudflaps and the chrome tie-downs,i made the mudflap brackets for the forward axle with aluminum sheet .here are the pics and i soldered the extra set of taillights for the tamiya plug for the extra (3rd lense)light

Trailer looks great Dwayne! Thanks for the info.:cool: I found some d rings for picture hanging but the smallest I found are still a little large for scale.
Yours look great and scale seems right. Definitely making a trip to get me some. :) thanks for sharing.

when you go to the craft store go in the jewellry making section and they come in 3 different sizes but make sure they say split rings ,there is 2 different styles i forget the name of the other ones but these are split rings .the chrome holders i got 4 in a pack for $1.49 there are a big one which you see on my trailer and a tiny one .its used for the chain in the inside of the toilet to flush...imagine that eh 101 uses for everything :lol:
