made a set of these yesterday for zeus out of aluminum ,still need a bit of tweaking but i got it figured out .thats the beauty of doing some things by hand ,its very easy to mess up and just as easy to correct..oh and disregard the dust on Zeus..yes i know ...can we say truck wash..lol

That's a great idea you have there! With a little tooling you could press those out very easily.

Mariowell mario i didn't attach it yet as i have to tweak them abit so the sleeve is a little bigger possibly to take a 2mm screw and nut or a dab of shoe goo adhesive or silicone not sure yet still working on it,let me see if i can fine tune them first and i will let you know

Yea I second both of those questions LOLbricknick ..see marios reply..:p

That's a great idea you have there! With a little tooling you could press those out very easily.well not sure about that i do everything by hand by first making a paper template then i fine tune the template and cut out the aluminum using the template which is why it takes me abit but i prefer that method because it usually comes out the way i hope it to look .my bug deflectors on "CHAOS" and "ZEUS" were done the same way

Might as well make it 3:lol:

How you going to attach it ?hey sir jack still working that out :D

I hope you didn't take me the wrong way. I build the same way you do starting with paper templates and then transferring to metal. I was just thinking that if you wanted to mass produce them, you could make tooling that would stamp them out in a jiffy!

no absolutely not i did not take it the wrong way i was just explaining on how i do it ,not really interested in mass producing anything .i find it hard to find time to build with my hours as a trucker .i would hate to have people hounding me .."where's my stuff"...:)maybe when i retire and turn my truck into a huge RV then i would have lots of time to do that ,until then i will do a few things here and there :D
