Sad but better now

My dad, the greatest man i have ever known, passed away last night. He got me started in RC with a Radio Shack/Tandy Formular 1 Racer about 40+ yrs ago. It was red and white. He also had a 2ft long UH-1 Huey that sat on a stand and when you push the buttons, the rotors and lights would operate. He will be missed but the memories my brothers have with him will love forever.

Sorry for your loss my friend..i too lost my mom some months back.it hurts especially when its a parent...may you have the strength to go forward.memories can never be taken from you.. be strong ,those memories will help you and your family like you can't imagine:)

I'm so sorry for your loss Rob. My father passed 3 years ago. I think about him all the time but not with a heavy heart , but with a feeling of pride and happiness in the person he was.

Sorry for your loss Rob, I just recently hit the 10 year anniversary of my fathers unexpected passing. And I'm currently waiting for my wife to give birth to our first born son any day now. So I miss my father more now then ever since I'm becoming more like him daily. Buy I do take tons of comfort in the fact of knowing I was raised by a great man and get to be that man for my son.
