so i been work on converting a old semi i had into a dump truck. i was using a firgelli actuator to tip the dump body but that broke in a week! so i turning it hydraulic. i made a single action cylinder a few mouths ago. and thought i can make a new you and make it better. so this is what a day of tinkering dose.

Nice job! How did you keep the seal in the cap where the rod passes through?

i epoxyed it to the top of the cap. it seams to be holding up. this is just single action so if the seal fails it won't really matter.

im using a magon hrc pump. they are small and stupid strong for there size. i'm going to be finishing up the build with the pump thats on the tipper trailer in the back ground of the vid.
and when my new one gets here i'll put it back in the trailer. the funny part is tha magon has the pump without the motor for 40$ or 30 euros .

the cool part is that it uses a 360 motor and they are cheap and easy to get. you can get them from any hobby shop . at 40 dollors it make it easy to make a hydraulic model.
they may not be the super bad @$$ german pumps but they are strong enough for me

i used the little threaded 1/16 barbed fitting.

that lead me to a question. where can i get a bunch of them for cheap?
