View Full Version : My Needle Nose, Pete or KW?

Just started a needle nose truck, kind of 50's era meets modern large car custom. But not sure if it's a Pete or KW or something else, what do you guys think? I put KW steps on it but was going after a Pete design. Oh we'll, here it is.

Keith if you just started it today you work a lot faster than I do look great but all most finished....LOL

Thanks Wayne, lol. I actually had the cab lying around for a bit now, painted it yesterday and the frame I built about two weeks ago, was just waiting to get some of my other projects out of the way.

Lol, thanks Mario, yeah gonna paint em, just had not decided what color yet. Most likely white.

I like it too, especially the color pops right out.just my opinion but could be my eyesight but i think the headlights might be abit to high for that 50's era pete. Its just my opinion.only i am not putting it down..looks great with the single round headlights

Thanks Kenworth, yeah I think your right on the headlights, coulda went a smidgen lower. I'll have to think on how to do that with out messen up the paint.

I think it looks great with the flatbed too!! I like how you have the top of the cab smooth with no defining separation between the cab and bunk. I say make the shocks black and leave the rails shiney!! I see a tri axle on the floor ;)

Thanks Aaron, black shocks deff. The Tri axle is gonna be a day cab Pete lift axle rig.
