so i got this truck i've had for a while. its the some of all the spare parts and ideas i've tried or had. so i figure it has earned the right to be my last project for a while. i'm planing to put a simple crane of it and flat bed with removable sides. i'm doing this while i'm waiting on a few more parts for a friends truck.

so this is it looks like so far.

Looks like there is some room for a custom behind the cab tool box. Although your crane idea is much better!!

so the start of the crane. i just don't know how to hook the fitting on. the hose that my hrc valve use is tiny, and the hole in the rams are big.??? any ideas?

The crane looks really good! The cylinders are very scale, and from the sound of it, they are also functional? Did you get it plumbed up yet?

im going to be using it as a small crane . just loading the tools for the excavator and loader, like the buckets and forks . and some small loads like logs and stuff like that .

looking great where do you get the hydraulics from? I'm interesting in building one of there and a container side loader trailer.

so got the crane done. it works pretty good but not that strong. i think its the pump, its out of a old dump trailer i had. so before i call it week i'll get a new pump. but the crane is done. kind of happy with the whole truck seeing its mostly used parts from around the house. youtube vid of me trying to use the crane. but its not as easy as i thought.

sorry about the background noise and comment on the vide good or bad later

The truck looks really good especially for being made of spare parts. What kind of pump and valves are you using, It appears that the pressure is quickly bleeding off when you are switching between the functions causing the cylinders to drop.

i'm the old style magom hrc valves, the pump is new and has tons of power but the valves are acting like the week link. the power is being lost somewhere, and it drops like you said. i think the o-rings are bad.
