Great work Brian, how will you run all those lights? Not directly off the mfu surely?
As always, showing us all how to make a proper peterbilt from the venerable king hauler.

Brian the chicken lights look great on the truck really makes it look agressive. It would be cool if you had them on a switched channel so you could turn them on and off.

Brian, that's has to have turned out even better than you have hoped! It looks like a Wizard came along and shrunk your truck.
It pretty happy so far. Thanks!
Brian I can't say anything about your truck that hasn't been said. It is top shelf and your skill is unmatched on those pete cabs. The bed is one of the best looking custome fab jobs ever. For what its worth I think it is one of my fav. Dump trucks on the board! Good job
I appreciate it!

Really Beautiful!!! is your Pete bird alum. or plated plastic? Thank you. The Pete bird is a plastic Wedico piece that I got from Claus.

Wow really another master piece for sure you kill it every time I am just amazed on how it looks and how perfect that grill is..

thanks Paul!

I'll get a vid up as soon as the body is on the chassis. I have everything working except for the tailgate latch. It is fighting me:mad::mad:! I have to revamp the leverage to make it work right. I'll use it but I wont get it too dirty! LOL!

That's amazingly accurate. Someone said it before, but they are right. Honey I shrunk the Peterbilt! Let's hope you don't sell this one! There is a ton of work involved, and I'd hate to see it go to someone else. You are the master modeller of Peterbilts. If I could build cabs like this, I would get rid of my Wedico and go with a Tamiya! The aftermarket is getting so strong, here in the states, finally.

Well Done Brian! That's one sexy dump trk!

It's probably just a little bit of air trapped in the cyl yet. You could try bleeding the cyl again. If that doesn't cure it, then try adding weight to the front of the box or cab protector, strips of steel with double sided tape.

Brian the truck looks like it dumps great and very smooth. The only thing I noticed was that when under a load with the hyd's it seemed to dim the chicken lights on the cab. I'm not sure if it was the camera adjusting back from movement or is it really pulling that much power?

Tyler

Thanks! Ya, your right Tyler. The esc for the pump is drawing some amps while it is dumping. Then when it reaches the top of the stick the lights almost go out. The battery was a little low for the vid. When the battery is full you don't notice it as bad.

Brian, excellent build, very true to the 1:1. I've followed it from the time I came to the board and have waited inpatiently to see it at this point (Love tri-axle dumps). Is the 1:1 still around so you can get a photo of the 2 together? Can't wait to see what you do next, this one will be hard to beat.

Brian, congrates for the best looking model Peterbilt. Wish there was a button to download hole tread and print out (suggestion to moderators). I´m not into this scale but if I ever will build one I would follow your description completely (maybee do a copy of my real one like you did). The shape of the cab looks so real! Details like the shovel, lightning on rear mirrors, real rubber mudflaps, under cab lightning and .......... , that´s things that makes a winner.
You got my vote!
If I understand right, the 1:1 is sold ,so what´s the new looking like?
