Hi Everyone. Figured I'd stop in real quick and share what I've been working on.

http://i686.photobucket.com/albums/vv221/corbettj454/102_zpsd62bd809.jpg (http://s686.photobucket.com/user/corbettj454/media/102_zpsd62bd809.jpg.html)

http://i686.photobucket.com/albums/vv221/corbettj454/110_zps7bb9d37b.jpg (http://s686.photobucket.com/user/corbettj454/media/110_zps7bb9d37b.jpg.html)

This picture the stakes were a little high. I looked back at the formula and was able to find a correct height to travel under most underpasses and power lines.
http://i686.photobucket.com/albums/vv221/corbettj454/123_zps48845d8b.jpg (http://s686.photobucket.com/user/corbettj454/media/123_zps48845d8b.jpg.html)
In this Pic they are cut down. From floor to top of stake is 11 INCHES And to scale would be about 12'9". to clear a 13' Bridge. Cutting close I know but then, there are places here that all you have to do is clear power lines. I'm not sure how close real Truckers are into staying above regulations, As long it's still safe.

I still have to add some paint. I think most of the trailers I see around here are a dark red. Any ideas of what color to paint the Log Trailer?

Thanks for looking.

Log trucks come in every color. Black is always a good neutral color for a trailer.

I agree, you can never go wrong with black. Corbett Trailers, are you going to make doubles with the log trailer or keep it a single?

Thanks guys. Doubles would be way cool. For right now I'm doing just the single. We see more of those around here. It's was just something I threw together. I got it painted last night. But it's not black. I will put some pictures up later. I'm on my way outta town for the morning.

Thank you. I've been pulling it around the garage and it's got some weight to it. Makes it seem more realistic. I'll have to put some BB's in the tires to help the King get the power to the ground.

I started another Log Trailer. But this one is off of my extended trailer frame. Check back this weekend for pictures of it.

Both trailers look great but I think I would have made that big one into a tri-axle boy you do not want to get any over weight tickets..... LOL

Not criticizing, just suggesting, have you ever looked at Freddy's log trailer? His looked really nice, He tapered the stakes and added the correct bumper/hitch. Are you going to build a matching tractor? Log trucks are cool.
