Hey there everyone :)

My name is Aaron - and I have been a long time stalker on the RC Truck and Construction site. I am hopelessly addicted to this side of the hobby. The realism of being able to live the trucking and construction side of life is just too cool. I myself, will more than likely never drive the full scale versions.. but this hobby allows me the imagination to put me in the driver seat!

Thanks for such a cool forum!

Welcome to the family Aaron. No need to stalk:lol:
As you already must know, great group of people here and a million examples of where our imagination can take this hobby:)
Don't forget, when building, post pics eh! ;)

Yes, it is the South Location for the Teds Garage crawler group on Friday nights! Sounds like you will have a busy weekend coming up :)

And as for showing off my rigs.. no, my friend.. that's why I'm a stalker on here most of the time - I just like to see what folks have. There are some super talented people that build these big rigs - and for me, I like to see peoples creativity. That chrome rig is nothing compared to the beauties that are made on this forum.

Welcome, Aaron. I've been enjoying a lot of your RC Adventure videos on youtube lately. Nice to have you on the forum. I can pretty much relate to all of your videos in one way or another. I've done a little of everything RC too. From crawlers to buggies, nitro and electric, even helicopters. These days I've been more focused on the trucks and construction models as well, but the go fast bug as bitten me again. I really like your Losi 8ight T electric conversion. Been thinking about building one.

I've also been a fan of your videos since you got the trucking and equipment bug. I must say though, I was a little upset to see a 14 yr old loader in great shape roll down the curb and smash!:eek: .
That's gotta be the rock crawler in ya I'm guessing:rolleyes::D.

Believe me.. I was DEVASTATED when the loader rolled, and buckled under the pressure :( Just gutted. But, one the things you guys couldn't see - is that the loader cab had already been broken before I purchased it, and glued back together. That old plastic is so brittle.. its like peanut brittle. Snaps when you sneeze. And for a loader like that "not to be used" - well, some would think thats a crime. So, I use it! But believe me.. I was sad as well. I invested a lot of money in that rig - and to see the plastic so weak was disappointing. BUT! I make lemonade out of lemons.. and I continue to use it! I'm not too bothered by the cab being gone now.. in fact, I kind of like the new look. I will be replacing the cab with a Bruder cab - but I will keep them to be interchangeable. There's just something appealing to me about having a "jungle loader". More than likely - my construction company will continue to grow in models.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone, really awesome :) It's nice to be among some great builders here. I have a lot to learn

Well Medic your the one who influenced me into the construction side of the hobby. Though sorry to say all I have is the 6x6 I'm working on so far. Might tackle the Tonka conversion soon as the first. Welcome and keep doing it your way. Topher
