I may have more by the end of the weekend but I have some yellow paint for anouther project to shoot before I can get back to work on this.

Not a problem. I am going to put in some battery packs for reference and take some more pics just so people can see how much room is in this beast.

Looking great, how long have been building it? Can't wait to see more.

I have 16-18 hrs in it so far. The first 12hrs were just assembling the track pads, body and blade parts. 2-3 hrs in paint and 2-3 hrs in assembly so far. There are close to 600 holes to tap to put this together. I am making custom pins for the blade and cylinder mounts and hope to have some pics by the end of the week end.

Well I've done it in aluminum but was wondering about the metal , and yes i guess it was a rhetorical question.:D

454 screws in the kit. 400 to assemble the tracks.

I made my pins for the cylinders and the blade mount out of clevis pins cut to length on the lathe then drilled the 2 holes with the rotery table. I then taped the holes and made the caps. This proved to be a challenge as the pins had ard spots in them and I broke 4 drill bits and 2 taps wasteing only one pin in the process.

Thanks Nate I wanted something different and I get tired of staring a CAT yellow all week and i need a break when I go home. I think the IZZY dozers are going to bring out some different colors for construction equipment.:D

The possibility may exist :confused: right now I changed my mind 4 times on paint color or name :rolleyes: . Before I got it , I thought cat D6T (cat colors ) then Drescat ( a conglomerate of Dresser and cat cat yellow Dresser blue & white stripe ) now back to cat but not decided on color yet :confused:

not to take anything away from OO . just a comparison pic ;)
