im not sure if this is the place to ask,,or should it be in the builders section?

but here i go..ive decided on two long term builds..a set of double bottom dumps, pulled by a single axle tractor.

and two is a GMC PD 4501 (Greyhound Scenicruiser)..here my question,on the PD 4501,would it be better to build a skeleton type frame work? ,or carve a master "plug" from some sort of soft (workable?)wood? and maybe fiberglass the mold?..or use it to form brass or copper sheet?..

but if i did the plug, and fiberglass..i guess id have to make a mold on the plug, then turn it over and fiberglass the inside to make the detail ect correct?...

gosh i dont know what would be harder..
