That is a company that sells them but I'm not sure if they actually make them. I bought mine second hand but is pretty much new. I can ask him if he can get more. I believe his friend from China actually makes them. I have only seen the Wedico CAT 345 in person and I must say the detail on the 390D is a lot better. Even the build and thickness of metal used which cant be seen by looking at pictures is pretty amazing. I was :jaw: when I opened up the box yesterday.

True, i thought that seller might just be re-distributing rc, it would be good if you could ask :D, did you buy it online? or did you meet local? are you planing on making some videos? i think i've seen some videos of this model or a similar one it looks like a very smooth rc. keep us posted thanks.

I'll ask him if he can get more. I'll be making a video soon. It will be my first time operating it so it might look funny. I bought it online.

Thank you! And for all your advice! I don't have a tamiya truck handy. I need to find locals around me that do now. The next pictures i take I'll put a coke can or something next to it.

Yeah it does have more detail than a BareBones. WHAT are those guys thinking!!!!!...... Oh wait that's us.... CRAP!!!! Better get back to work!!!!

But seriously It should have more detail than a BareBones-Excavator because we sell Excavators that are "BareBones".:)

Watch "Cat390D RC hydraulic digging first time." on YouTube
Cat390D RC hydraulic digging first time.: http://youtu.be/jh_BrHdJDRA

I'm horrible at this. My first time digging. I start getting a hang of it after the 2:00minute mark.
I guess it helps that I've been flying trex450 helicopter since 2006.

I cant compare with other machines, but I was pretty impressed at the power. My dad at first was like "that can't dig" but when he saw it in action, he was amazed. I need to get smoother at operating and then make more videos.

It looks very nice. Did it come with the radio, or did you install your own? Maybe I missed it up the page, but what are these excavators going for?

You've been practicing, it shows.

I can hear you banging the sticks, STOP THAT! Keep your thumbs on the sticks at all times. ;)

LOL I went back and listened and sure enough I was rough housing the sticks!:cop:

Thanks, getting much smoother at the controls. I need to get a truck and practice dumping in the box instead of "anywhere on the side of the slope."

ADT or something else? Maybe the Wedico ADT to match the CAT lineup?

Cat 390D digging first person part 2
This is by far my best first person view video. My favorite part of this video is at the 5:00min mark when I move a large piece of concrete.

Get a shoe box or milk carton to practice filling, then meticulously clean it out again. That'll hone your skills. ;) :D

Good idea! I was just about to purchase the Bruder Mack dump truck to practice on since that is also in 1/16 scale to match.
