The other day I was going through some of my old stuff in the basement and came across my old rc john deere 8200. I was wondering if anyone has ever tried to upgrade one of these? And if anyone has any advice on parts

I haven't seen a 8200 yet, but there could be one out there.
I'm sure similar models have been converted.

Now that the 1470 done I've decided to get back to this project. I just need to figure out how to get it all tore down still. Any recommendations are welcome.

As I said before it already is remote control but I am going to upgrade it to hobbygrade components.

This helps a ton! I really appreciate it. And thanks for the pictures too, Kind of gives me a preview of what I'm getting into. I have one more question though. How did you get the stubs that hold the rear tires on to come off? That's what really is hanging me up at the moment.

Carefully cut a notch with dremel in that collar, then use a screwdriver and open up the notch
