I've been trying to use a good old rheostat to control the speed of my screener motor and it worked for awhile till it got a little warm and now lost any real adjustment. All out or nothing.
So , the reason for my post.... I found something others may be interested in. Very, very in exspensive . $7.37 Canadian, free shipping!
A speed controller that can handle 5-16V. 200W and a 20 amp max. Tested tonight and it works perfect! Precise control through the entire speed range and maintains strength from free wheel to loaded.
I am so impressed and happy, I ordered another to use for testing motors, light circuits etc, at whatever voltage I want!
