I'm from Utah, my dad has done construction his whole life so I have always been fascinated by the equipment and I have been into r/c cars since I could crawl! I'm looking for options to get into a half decent and capable rig under $5000! Something more like $200-400. I attempted a bruder skid steer but just doesn't work very well so I came here looking for help!

To be totally honest, I don't think there's anything that's going to cost under $500 without it being a Bruder-type conversion.
The obvious solutions for that price range are only toy-quality units available at the local mall and Target/Wal-Mart stores that may supply them.

With that said, don't lose hope... We have a great group of people here that have "mad skills" and can guide you in the art of master building.
