I'd love to hear how their better, more water resistant foamboard holds up. Also it seems like the Elmer foambaord from hobbylobby and others is thicker, heavier.

Glad to hear it's been that inspiring, can't wait to see some show up in your videos.

With how you can form if for airfoils, I'm wondering how a Quanset Hut would come out. I still see those things around.

It's the AMC Pacer that gets me. One of the few cars weirder than our Fieros; IIRC, the driver's door is a different length than the passenger's.

And dammit, I've been trying to connive the wife in letting me have a Sinclair dinosaur in the backyard ... now a little one might be doable. And I've always had a thing for automobilia... huh. Y'all always get me thinking.

It's really easy to find all kinds of rc supercars, high-end cars, and muscle cars. But something like a Lamborghini or Ferarri still looks really STRANGE sharing the roads with Semis, Construction, and Farming stuff.
I like doing weird 'normal cars' in this scale, especially if they can bring a smile or laughter. When i remebered there had been a run of rc 1/16 AMC Pacers, and Ford Pintos i had to start searching! A downsizing amc collector let me buy all 4 colors of this Pacer. Unfortunately the MotorMax 'fresh cherries' Pacer doesn't actually have the 4" longer passenger door. At first I was kinda thinking Waynes World with flames, but couldn't argue with kandy apple red once i had them here.

Awww, she doen't want a fiberglass Sinclair dinosaur? I though everybody likes the Brontosaurus. (or Brachiosaur.)

There's a Bruder kit that has a gas pump in it. Kinda pricey at ~$90 just to get the gas pump. And I don't see it available as a spare part.
