the way I see it RW, it's not cheating, it's the right thing to do for the reasons you mention. Ultimate goal is to have fun with our machines not break them. Yes things wear out , that's normal....

Ya, was busy moving and cleaning but now the house is sitting, no sale yet:(. Lucky we kinda already "own" the new house and able to move...

I know you said it's a mock up pic. The way you have the bearings is the opposite of how the real machines are. Bearing tapers should face inward.The cups are in wheel hub opposing each other.

And don't forget the battery weight and size. Probably going to need a good sized one for decent run time. Or maybe wire up a whole bunch of those lipos you got should work.:eek:
