I probably would never have attempted this if I didn't see how you did your conversion! This was my first r/c project in quite a while...your builds gave that little "push" to get started.
@ Car5858 - thanks! The noise doesn't bother me much either. You're right, adds to the realism!
@ Brian in PA - yes, the drive motors are metal gear servos modified for continuous rotation (SmallHaul's creation). They are holding up quite well for me, with the limited run time I've got on them. Sadly, I haven't yet created a sandbox to play in yet
