i was wondering if i could use a windshield wiper sprayer pump as a pump for a dump bed? i got two single action pneumatic cylinders i want to use they are spring return, and two really small double action cylinders. just for a dump d=bed that don't need to move fast would this work? i seen some really small windshield wiper pumps. and going by my car that send water over the car and about two cars back it seems to have a far amount of power?
any input would help thanks! |

Honestly I don't know if it would work well or not. So my advice would be to try it. Set up the dumping box on your bench if not in a truck already, fill her up with the most weight you think will be in it and see how it works.

I have to agree. I don't think it will have enough pressure though but I would like to see if it does so give it a try. You may discover something that we all could benefit from!

Hurry up and find a friend to help you see how strong it is! Better yet just tear the pump out of your car and hook it up on the bench!lol

That's too bad but at least you gave it a go. It takes really tight tolerances though to make any amount of pressure.
