any one ever built a tonka?

lookng around and haven't seen many or good ones?
i'm thinking of converting a tonka front loader, you know
one of the old all metal one's has this been done yet?

need some good ideas on running gear should i go hydraulic?
screw drive? 4 gear motor or axles gear box
any help would be gear 0thanks
