What Is This & What Is It Used For?
As many of you may know, I’ve worked on the Tamiya Tractor-Trailers for about ten years.
 I have recently found an item on Ebay that has my interest. I just don’t know what it’s used for  , I thought it might be for a sliding 5th-wheel. I asked the seller and he stated that it was not for a sliding 5th-wheel, but it’s for some kind of locker.  http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI...sPageName=ADME If anyone can identify what this part is and what it’s used for, I’d appreciate it. I still think it might be useful in making a sliding 5th-wheel.  - RCT

That is the latch for the scania cabs. It holds it down when not tilted forward. Not a stock part that i'm aware of.I almost bought one for my globe.
