Spudd , 3 phase conversion on machinery is not bad till you get above 15HP . The reason I had the 25HP RPC was to run a monster air compressor well I finally asked the right person and said " nope it can't be done "

when a air compressor starts under a load the amp draw is more then a phase convertor can handle ( found that out the hard way

)

BOY AM I GLADE I'M NOT A MILLWRIGHT

I still got to move the lathe in yet
