Paint help

[Bigrigger]

Hey guys. I'm fixing my mistake, and I can't get my hood to look right. I spilled a drop of wet paint on it then wiped it off. I left a little lip of sorts so I wiped off a bigger spot with nail polish remover to get rid of it. I repainted over the whole hood but you can still see the spot. Is there a quick fix? Can I just keep painting it until I can't see it anymore? Or do I have to strip the whole hood of paint and then spray it? Thanks!
