Yup they're Lynns bezels. The ones for 3mm leds need a 5.1mm (#7 imperial drill bit) hole to sit in, and overlap a bit on the outside, so take up about 6mm space.
Those ebay ones are a 7.7mm hole, had a look at similar at a local electronics place, but end up using 9mm or more for a 3mm led. Pretty sure Lynn is going to be selling bezels again as of next month.
