Oops ... a slip of the keyboard there ...
With you on the cable mess in the engine bay. Will be interesting to see your solution there! One advantage of te 1:8 scale is that the receiver and ESC don't look too much out of proportion. What ESC are you using? Was thinking that one from Servonaut might be flat/small enough to disappear in the engine bay.
