Yeah, that's correct. I've got some experience with the 'Faroe' type excavators, 'RTR' 954 (and similar models Komatsu 270, Cat 336) in 2017, it became clear that they still had some way to go concerning hydraulics and assembly skills. But the frames were ok (with some thigtening up of main joints) and cylinders, possible to ad proper hydraulic pump and valves. Figured out it was better to purchase the machines in kit form, without hydraulics, and assemble everything from the bottom, as I had some tools and experience within the field.
There is the Liebherr 946 that's higher priced and a looks to be a notch better put together, but I've no experience with it.

Should be there by the time I get home next month. From the YouTube vids looks like it could maybe do to have a slightly bigger bore cylinder on the bucket as it seems a bit "snappy" or could dial down the valve a bit but might loose a bit of breakout force... Will post up how it goes but for the money looks like a pretty solid machine.

I'm finishing up a Cat 339DL been waiting on oil thats been on back order, the model is built well went to gather nice the direction were mostly in Chinese . I got mine off EBAY with shipping for 2200.00 and didn't have to list my life with Allis what ever. AS soon as oil get hear I'll be ready to go , I spent 40+ years operating excavators but been retired 12yrs will see if my thumbs can getR done. After reading the earlier post I'll be looking at pins tomorrow, Thanks for heads up, I'm new to hobby. CAT PUSHER
