Thanks for the fast reply and example! I guess I should be looking for chrome/metal decals that are logos & lettering made very similar to PE sheets. I did find a few on eBay and on this one decal website but are mainly racing team sponsors, race cars and motorcycles.

I guess the next best thing is to get some resin lettering and go from there.
