Tried out a couple wraps of tape in the center of the roller to mimic the crown. Certainly helps tracking. Thanks Don!

Let the fixture belt run for 30 minutes unattended. Pretty fast motor at 200 rpm. Tracked well. Motor slightly warm. Solves the biggest hurdle. Now an overwhelming amount of CAD to do.
