On my old skysport both stayed on, the green would go out when the bat was low or dead.

I just recently purchased a futaba 4 channel and yes, when i turn it on, both red and green lights are on. If the green goes out and you have red on only, then theres a problem.

Thankyou both so much, that is good news. I would hate to go to Indy and run for about two minutes and the radio die. LOL!!!
