here are some updates ,i dry mounted the cab so i can mount the chassis parts like the fuel tanks and the drivers side step.i weathered the mfu unit switch/step to match the rest of the truck and got a few extra parts needed from probuilder to finish the truck off .i notice in parts of the movie there was a catwalk on the truck so i got probuilder to make and paint one for me .this will also help with hiding the battery to power this truck as you can see,not much room anywhere

i am going to stuff a mfu in here and add more details like the numerous rusted plates at the front and the 2 clearance and signal lights and that little convex mirror on the hood so the driver can moniter the engine by colour of the smoke out of the exhaust,plus i am started on the tanker for this truck too..thanks for looking ,will post more pics as i get more done

here is an update on the duel truck.redid the front bumper ,was going to use real railway track but could not find the right size.tried g scale and too big and o scale did not look right so i used evergreen I beam and trimmed the top and made it look like railway track then i weathered it with rust and oil and added the brackets in styrene and weathered them also and added the license plates .i also removed the headlights because they sat too high on the grille .i will be reinstalling them and weathering the plates also .yep still building this one also

Cool rig.. I know the guy that bought the movie truck...he has since sold it but it was cool that he was able to locate it and get it back from the dead...

yea and as the story goes the lady that lived across the street from him was terrified of the truck so much that she sold her house and moved..not sure how true but its funny

Never heard that one but.....LOL....Dan Bruno of st Louis bought it and I think tried to drive it home but gave in and had it transported. I can't recall the details... He had it for a few years and sold it to someone in the south....he also owns the movie truck and trailer from convoy.

you know its funny you mention that one of my friends shawn(civic83) has made that suggestion also so you never know what might show up here in this threadit would be a good idea to get one made and put it in the photos with this truck but in my opinion i think it would look good smashed up beside this truck ...with a say no to road rage ad...

managed to get abit of time to sort out the front end and the headlights,(they sat too high on the grill)lowered them and reinstalled them and soldered the wires back ,just have to wather abit more and finish stuffing the electronics in the cab
