In fact I have a website where I have a lot of photo's. Actually it's a forum where I can easily place comments for each of the pictures. It's not meant for discussions

The inner work is not so spectacular, it's very simple but it does were it was intended for.

Very nice model! The brass work is superb. I agree a barge would make it look real but where would you keep it?

Absolutely beautiful! I could not fully appreciate the work you have put into building this model, until I visited your site. What a masterpiece of a model.

I meant on the barge, for the real, 1:1 machine, but I suppose both model and real crane would not be much different!

That build came out very professorial looking and right scale speed on it's operation. Do u have any plans to rc the skid steer under the crane?

@rcguyfarms, I don't have RC plans for the Skid steer, I would not even know where I should start. It's to little.

@Espeefan, It's safer than when the crane were mounted on his undercarriage.
You don't even notice when you walked on deck and the crane had a full load.
Unlike the floating crane which I now driven on, this one tipped much more with full load and still it's very safe.



By the way, it's my next project. Scale 1:75

Wow! That is huge! Look how small the excavators appear, in comparison! I'm amazed that a crane that tall in profile, standing that high above the deck can be stable at all, but I'll take your word for it. What is that crane used for? What is it's rated capacity? Is the operator's cab that red box on the boom with the number 4 on it?

We use them (we have two of this type of cranes) for load en unloading from sea going vessels. That could be all like Coal & Minerals, Agriculture, scrap, ect. In fact all dry bulk cargo.

Capacity is 36 tons from 13 meter to 43 meter (42 to 141 feet)
The 'red box' is indeed the operators cab, it's about 39m (127 feet) above deck.

I started 2 years ago this project and I have just finished the crane.
The crane works fully RC.
Now I'm going to build the barge.

That is a marvelous piece of modelling! Without the wall behind it, you'd think it was the 1:1. Our company has put a few pedestal hydraulic clams on barges on the Ohio River, but nothing that is close in size to this unit. Would like to see a video of it in operation.

Woah your brass work is amazing, and you have a great eye for detail. I am curious though, how is the drive line for the drums set up and how are they powered? I'm building a yarder with lots of cables and rigging and will need some help figuring everything out haha. Thanks
